A joint project by ART-ESENCIA PROJECT (Spain) and N9OVENA METÁFORA (Colombia),  "Women's issues" is open to all. The technique is FREE, original pieces in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mail art, artistamps, calligraphy, digital art, collage or mixed media…and more. All works must be 4 inches x 6 inches. There's no jury, no selection, no prizes, no returns. But note that violent, racist or insulting works will not be included in the show. 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: July 4, 2011

You must submit both a physical work and a virtual one to be part of the project. Every submitted piece will be posted to this exhibition blog. All works must be sent by post with the postage stamps to the following address:

IMPORTANT: ONCE YOU'VE COMMITTED IMAGES TO PRINT, SEND YOUR IMAGES TO proyectoartesencia@gmail.com  and novenametafora@gmail.com in JPG FORMAT. LARGE IMAGE (but not heavy in the megabyte sense) FOR EACH IMAGE IS BEST. THIS PERMITS FAST LOADING ON THE BLOG AND OTHERS NETWORKINGS. Please send your name, country, and website if exist.

 

DOCUMENTATION:  All Mail Art received will be exhibited at the Museum of Art at the University of Magdalena in Santa Marta, Colombia.  Inauguration: July 7, 2011

The postcards received will form part of the art collection of the Virtual Female Collective Proyecto Art-Esencia and of the Collective N9vena Metáfora, if so the artist specifies in the artwork that desires to leave for them.  The idea of both collective is to travel and show the installation in different cities. 

In 2010 and 2011 we participated in 6 exhibitions with the installation "Women: Secrets and Confidences", in different cities of Spain.
