Art-esencia Project joins the Colombian Artistic Collective N9VENA Metáfora through the artist Gilma Carreño Rangel to launch our third call for Mail Art on the feminine world: WOMEN'S ISSUES.
We have joined our energies to this project, building bridges of communication and friendship among artists and creatives from around the world. We already had two exhibits in Spain this year, to this third edition our destiny is Colombia. The exhibition will be held at the Museum of Art at the University of the Magdalena in the city of Santa Marta.
The opening will be on July 7, 2011.
We will present our installation as guest artists for the exhibition VANITY FAIR AND WOMEN’S ISSUES from artist Gilma Carreño Rangel. A part of what was "Secrets and Confidences" will also be exhibited in Colombia. We want this project to continue to grow and these postcards travel and show conclusively that beautiful feminine world of women of today... We hope to engage the interest of other artists or galleries to continue with this project.

FORMAT: 4 inches x 6 inches
TERMS: No jury, no selection, no prizes, no returns (violent, racist or insulting works will not be included in the show)

You must submit both a physical work and a virtual one to be part of the project. Every submitted piece will be posted to this exhibition blog.

The postcards received will form part of the art collection of the Virtual Female Collective Proyecto Art-Esencia and of the Collective N9vena Metáfora, if so the artist specifies in the artwork that desires to leave for them. The idea of both collective is to travel and show the installation in different cities.
The proposals will increase because we keep open the call for futures projects. In 2010 and 2011 we participated in 6 exhibitions with the installation "Women: Secrets and Confidences", in different cities of Spain.
